objectiveThe overall aim of our Master of Science in Informatics and Telematics Course (ΦΕΚ 851/20.03.2012, τ. Β΄) is to enable you to gain a thorough understanding of Informatics and Telematics applications in terms of both theory and practice. The course covers a range of topics networked-centric information systems, internet technologies and e-services, which are recognized as key organizational resources and are used by contemporary organizations in the effective planning and implementation of Information Technology.

Towards this direction special emphasis is placed on advanced Telematics applications mainly internet and intranet technologies that have direct application on education, economy, and transfer. The course is available in both full-time and part-time mode.

full part timeThe MSc in Informatics and Telematics is available in both full-time and part-time mode. The Full Time MSc program of has a course duration of 18 months, divided in 3 academic periods. The Part Time MSc has a course duration of 36 months, divided in 6 academic periods. Upon successful completion the student will receive a Master of Science degree specialising in one of the three aforementioned programmes.

scholarshipsThe programme offers nine (9) scholarships in total for the best performance in each flow every six months, covering all or part of tuition.

 

general infoThis programme is targeted to applicants who are holders of a Bachelors’ degree, in a similar field from a Greek university or Technological Educational Institute, or an equivalent qualification from an overseas institution recognised by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).

Resident faculty members teach in the MSc in Informatics and Telematics as well as visiting researchers with a distinguished and recognized track record in the various fields of Internet Technologies, Telecommunication and Information Systems. Further, selected seminars are given by distinguished executives from industry, commerce and the public sector.

The Department has established an Advisory Committee made up of internationally distinguished academics in the field of Informatics and Telematics.
